What products should I use for my hair before curling with a curling iron?

Please let me know what product/s I can use to protect my hair from heat and damage when curling my hair with an iron. Maybe any product from Pantene/Herbal Essences/Garnier.. I just don't know what to use

Being you are using Dales for the first time I suggest you just marinate the steaks in them. That way if you don't care for the flavor it won't be on everything. I personally like Dales.
