My hair breaks off pretty easily so I try not to use heat on my hair(flat irons, curling irons) Wrapping it at nights also helps ALOT. Use a satin or silk scarf to tie it down. Also be sure to oil/grease your scalp alot. And get your ends trimmed fairly often, at least after a relaxer. If your ends are pretty bad, don't be afraid to cut a couple inches off. It'll grow back healthier! Your hair will continue to break off other wise. If that doesnt work, try going to the salon every couple or weeks or so to get your hair treated.
For me, my hair grows when it's braided. I'll get a trim and good conditioning, and get some micro braids. When I take them down after a few months, I've made some progress!! GOOD LUCK

i use chi striaght guard. you just put a little when your hairs wet and it keeps it from frizzing & getting wavy/curly again. i also put a little hairspray in it after im done straightning and it stays straight pretty much all day unless its really humid.
