did you use any styling product?
I spray Chi 44 Iron Guard heat protecting spray before I start curling.
i actually watched it a few times while i used my mirror to copy the actions on a cool iron. then i heated the iron and did it by myself. i remember trying to learn this from 10 different videos on the night of a party and frying my hair because i couldnt do it, finally going to the party with my hair a mess. so i felt accomplished when i finally got it right… thanks!

If you dye your hair black regularly that means your hair is probably decently damaged, which is ideal for spray-on color. Color sticks better to damaged hair because it is lacking it's essential protective oils. However, because your hair is black odds are the color won't show.
Think of it like coloring. Imagine coloring with crayons on black construction paper. The color is there just as much as it would be on white construction paper, you just cant see it as well.

these masks are perfect. I have color treated hair. But other Kiehls products does not worth the price in my opinion, so don't splurge on their shampoos before you tried them, they give you samples. I personally buy only masks from them
